Despite heavy rain predicted, fans still rocked up to the already sold out show at Sirromet Winery for A Day on The Green for Sir Elton Johns Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
Thanks to Roundhouse Entertainment and Chugg Entertainment for a special night, this was the 20th show which marked the half way mark for the epic 40 show tour.
Fans of all ages enjoyed what was an amazing celebration of a long and successful career with a music Legend.
To start the evening off was young singer / song writer Tate Sheridan, he warmed up the crowd with a few of his songs. He was amazing and a little overwhelmed by the size of the crowd waiting for Elton.
With the rain holding off, the man himself hit the stage at 7pm and performed nearly 3 hours of hit songs including: “Candle in The Wind”, “I’m Still Standing”, “Tiny Dancer”, “Bennie and the Jets”, “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me”, “Daniel” “The Bitch is Back” and so many more great hits.
The huge crowd had so much energy and Elton and the band loved every moment.
This is a special tour and one to be remembered, for a man in his 70’s his voice is still as strong as ever.
Thanks to all involved, everyone did such an amazing job.
