From Johnny to Jack performed at The Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre Feb 16.02.2019 by talented singer Luke Kennedy, tells the amazing rollercoaster journey of one of Australia's most successful male singers "The Voice" Mr John Farnham.
It explores one of the greatest untold stories in Australian music history. In a two-part concert experience, it takes you on a journey from the very beginning with Sadie The Cleaning Lady and the up and downsides to fame and stardom.
Opening the show with a medley of Farnham hits performed by the very talented group of musicians, part one of the show covers tracks from "One", "Don't You Know Its Magic" a few Little River Band tunes including "Reminiscing" and finishing the first part of the story with "Bridge Over Troubled Water".
After a short break, Luke went on to perform some of John's bigger hits including "Playing to Win", "Please Don't Ask Me" and of course one of the greatest Australian songs "You're The Voice".
Being a huge John Farnham fan that I am, I was a bit unsure of what to expect going into the show, but walked out very impressed with the presentation, the performances and overall class of the concert, not only telling the great journey of one of Australia's finest singers and amazing people, was just an overall fun show, a few jokes thrown in and the audience singing along to all the great tunes, would highly recommend this concert to any music lover. The show ended with a great mix of hits including "Chain Reaction", "Freedom", "Have a Little Faith", "Age of Reason", "Two Strong Hearts" and "Pressure Down".
A highly recommended concert and performance.
