Tina Arena appointed to Order Of Australia

Australian musical icon Tina Arena has been appointed as a Member in the General Division of the Order Of Australia, as announced today in the Governor General’s Australia Day honours.  This is in recognition of her contribution to the arts, representing Australia on the world stage and philanthropic work.

Says Tina of this proud announcement:

"I’m thrilled, this recognition is really lovely. I first started travelling and working abroad 30 years ago, and I’ve always been asked about Australia in interviews in foreign countries, and I’m such an advocate. We live in an amazing country, Australia is rich with opportunities and as cliche as it sounds anything is possible. Who would have thought an Australian-born girl from immigrant working-class parents would end up here, I’m very fortunate to call Australia my home and so proud to be playing a small role in promoting our country to the world.”

Robert Manser

Rob loves his boy bands and has worked with most of them. When it became too hard to work in Australia with the media - he started Giving a voice to the pop culture scene for over 16 years (check dates depending on when you read this.) In his other life he is a creative director, film maker, photographer and designer... but pop is his one true love. Along with imaginary boyfriends, Nick Lachey and Channing Tatum  (his husband approves).
