Universal Studios gears up for Halloween

image005Kicking off September 20, 2013: Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights has a more than 20-year history of creating an incredibly entertaining, horrifying Halloween experience that is consistently rated the nation’s best.
Bringing together the sickest minds in horror to immerse in a living, breathing, three-dimensional world of terror, the event features highly-themed, disturbingly-real haunted houses that are based on everything from hit films to worst nightmares -- and streets filled with hundreds of specially-trained “scareactors”
This year’s haunted attractions include:
Evil Dead: Book of the Dead – Elaborately themed haunted mazes based on this year’s box office hit, “Evil Dead” that will immerse horror fans in the blockbuster remake of the cult classic.

Black Sabbath: 13 3D - Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath, the celebrated, multi-platinum rock band that pioneered the Heavy Metal genre with their dark and doom-laden sounds, fused with lyrical themes of the occult, addiction, war and nuclear apocalypse, will be immortalized in an all-original, terrifying 3D maze, “Black Sabbath: 13 3D”.

The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven - Fans with a voracious appetite for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will have a chance to walk in the footsteps of human survivors thanks to the new terrifying mazes inspired by Season 3 of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning television series.

Tel Cucuy: The Boogeyman - The age-old fear of “the boogeyman” comes to life in an all-new grisly twist, when “El Cucuy: The Boogeyman,” as the latest in the lineup of award-winning authentically disturbing mazes.
The Purge and Curse of Chucky – Added to the line-up of scare zones are The Purge, based on Universal Pictures’ summer blockbuster, and Curse of Chucky, an all-new movie where Chucky returns to horrify viewers in the latest unrated chapter of the blood-soaked suspense saga.
