Lilo & Stitch continues to perform strongly at the box office.

11 June 2025
Written by Robert Manser

Disney’s live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch has achieved significant box office success, grossing over $USD772 million globally as of June 2025. This places it among the top-grossing films of the year, trailing only Ne Zha 2 and A Minecraft Movie.

Beyond box office numbers, the film has sparked a cultural phenomenon known as “Stitchmania.” The character Stitch has become a global icon, with merchandise sales reaching $USD 2.6 billion in 2024. The film’s success has revitalised interest in the franchise, leading to increased visibility in retail, fashion, and online streaming platforms.

Lilo & Stitch continues to perform strongly at the box office, with projections indicating it could surpass A Minecraft Movie to become the highest-grossing film of 2025.
