Blusher: 24 hours in Paris
First busting onto the Aussie music scene via BIGSOUND in 2022, the Melbourne-based pop-trio Blusher have been making a name for themselves, touring here and overseas… the gals just released their new track ’24 Hours In Paris’. Described as wistful and expansive, the song is now available worldwide via Atlantic Records/Warner Music Australia. According to the band, “‘24 Hours in Paris’ is our bittersweet darling…” The single reveals a different side to the band’s sound and is a departure from their previous release ‘Accelerator’ whichc we are obsessed with!
Blusher has recently completed a successful run with Icelandic artist Dadi Freyr across the US and has more international dates coming up, including their first headline show at The Waiting Room in London.
Over the last year, Blusher has been making waves in the music industry, with various accolades such as being named as one of Spotify’s RADAR artists and showcasing at The Great Escape UK and SXSW Sydney. They have also supported international artists Aurora and Tove Lo on their national Australian tours.
This new offering is substantial in its own right as it melds iconic 90s visuals with a track that could be heard 90s style on shows like Dawsons creek and 90210… but with its modern spin, 24 hours in Paris is a killer tune that sits right across the sweet spot of being radio friendly, artistically credible and definitely chart worthy.
We have added it to our 2024 rotation, that’s for sure and you should too!
